Getting started
A Docodez document is a .dcz file with a tree inside: folders and notes of different kinds.
- Create a document. Tap New and choose where to save it and its name. It opens in a tab, ready to write.
- Add a folder. With New folder you build the structure: "Recipes", "Work", "Trips"…
- Add a note. Pick the kind: a rich page, a Markdown note, code, a photo album, a PDF or a plugin (shopping list, invoice…).
- Write. Tap the note in the tree and write on the right (on a phone the note fills the screen; go back to the tree with the arrow).
- Save. Tap Save (on a computer, Ctrl+S). Docodez also keeps a backup while you work, in case something closes suddenly.
View mode and edit mode
Each document can be in view mode (to read without changing anything by accident) or in edit mode. Switch with the Edit button. If you start editing something in view mode, Docodez switches to edit mode by itself.
Open documents you already have
With Open you pick a .dcz, or a .b96 from the classic Docodez. On Windows they also open with a double click, and on Android with "Open with" from another app.
