Pages (HTML)
A page is like a word processor document: bold, lists, headings, colors, links, tables and images. The toolbar at the top has the buttons; on a phone it folds away to leave more room.
- Images: from a file, the clipboard, a web address or the camera. Double-tap an image to crop or resize it.
- Pasting from a web page: Docodez cleans what you paste (no scripts or ads).
- A page from a web address: when creating the note you can enter an address and Docodez saves the whole page.
- Links: links to other pages open in your browser;
dcz://links go to another note of the document.
Markdown
To write quickly with simple formatting: # Heading, **bold**, - lists. You see the text and the preview. You can create a Markdown note from one or more .md files.
Code
Text with syntax highlighting. Choose the language in the note's menu (Language).
Annotations
Draw on top of a page: pen, line, arrow, and a tool to select, move, resize or rotate a stroke. On a phone, one finger draws and two fingers scroll the page.
Dictation
The 🎤 button in the editors records your voice and types it where the cursor is. On Android it can use the phone's speech recognition; with an AI provider that transcribes, it can also translate while you dictate and keep the audio as an attachment.
