Documents and tree
The tree
- Move: drag a note into another folder (on a phone, press and hold, then drag). You can also use Move up and Move down.
- A note's menu: right-click or press and hold. Rename, delete, share, attachments, encrypt and more are there. Only what makes sense for that kind of note shows up.
- Rename: F2 on a computer. Delete: Del.
- Tree or list: the tree shows the folders; the list shows every note in a row.
- Folder index: tapping a folder shows what's inside, with size and date.
Favorites
In a note's menu, Add to favorites. The ★ button switches the panel between the tree and your favorites. The mark travels with the document.
Tabs and several documents
Each open document is a tab. On a computer you can open several Docodez windows at once.
Profiles
A profile is a group of documents you open together (for example "Home" and "Work"). Set them up in Profiles.
Full screen
To read or present a note, make it full screen. A floating button takes you back. On a phone, the screen stays on while you are in full screen.
If something closes suddenly
Docodez keeps a journal of your changes while you work. If the app or the device closes without saving, it offers to recover what was missing the next time you open the document.
