Docodez keeps notes, web pages, code, photos, PDFs and files in one document, with folders just like you are used to. It was born in 2006 and today runs on Android, Windows and the browser.

A tree of folders
Each document is a tree: folders and notes you drag, rename and sort. Favorites, tabs and a flat list view.
Pages, Markdown and code
A rich page editor with tables and images; Markdown notes with a preview; code with syntax highlighting.
Photos, albums and PDF
Photo albums straight from the camera, an editor to crop and straighten documents, and PDFs inside the tree.
Attachments
Any file can be attached to a note: invoices, spreadsheets, audio. They travel inside the document.
Annotations
Draw on top of a page: pen, lines, arrows. With a mouse or your finger.
Encrypted notes
Protect a note or a folder with a password. Nothing readable is left in the file.
Search
Find words in the whole document, including inside PDFs and albums.
Plugins
Notes that are small apps: shopping list, invoices, car log, spreadsheets, 3D viewer. See plugins.
AI with your own key
Translate, dictate, read the text in a photo or cut out objects. With the provider you choose: OpenAI, Claude, Groq or your own Ollama.
It works where you work
Android (Samsung DeX too), Windows and Docodez Web in the browser. Share to Docodez from other apps (text, links, photos, PDFs, contacts) and open your documents from Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox with your phone's file picker.
Been using Docodez for years? Docodez reads the .b96 files of the classic version and saves them in the new .dcz format.
